2022-23 AS A SOPHOMORE
Did not appear in a game and earned a medical redshirt

2021-22 AS A FRESHMAN
Appeared in nine games on the season, starting one on November 20th against Navy... Scored his first career points against James Madison on December 11th with four points, also bringing down a season-best five rebounds... Bested his previous scoring high with five points on 2-3 shooting at USC Upstate on January 6th... Recorded three steals on the season.

Jones recently finished up high school playing at both Albemarle and Blue Ridge High School. … He earned multiple awards in 2019 including Player of the Week (twice), first team all-region, and second team all-state … While playing for Blue Ridge he won two state championships in the VIC (B) region his junior and senior years with the team posting an incredible 50-5 overall record over those two seasons … During the 2021 season he was named Virginia State Tournament MVP after averaging 19.5 points, 1.6 assists, 8.5 rebounds, and 2 steals per game during the tournament.

PERSONAL
Was a multi-sport athlete also competing in cross country, track and field, baseball, and tennis. In 2021 he was a state champion in the high jump event.
