RADFORD, Va. --
Following a nine-day break from the hardwood, Radford returns to action Tuesday evening when it hosts in-state foe William & Mary in a 7 p.m. tip at the Dedmon Center.

Radford, which was forced to postpone its Dec. 19 tilt at James Madison due to last week's snowstorm, is in the midst of its longest stint away from action since the 2007-08 campaign.

Radford meets the Tribe for the second time in as many years, and for just the second time at home in six all-time meetings.

Last November, William & Mary opened the second half on a 13-0 run and knocked down 28-of-32 free throws en route to a 73-53 victory over Radford in Williamsburg.

Through the first eight games, Radford's frontcourt continues to lead the way highlighted by Joey Lynch-Flohr's (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) Big South player of the week nod last Monday. The 6-8 senior netted a career-high 26 on Dec. 9 at top-ranked Kansas and added 18 in Radford's most recent outing (Dec. 13), a 99-67 win over Roanoke College. In the victory over Roanoke, Lynch-Flohr scored his 1,000th career point, becoming the 25th player in the program's history to hit the mark. Lynch-Flohr's 1,010 career points are good for 23rd in program history.

Art Parakhouski (Minsk, Belarus) had his second straight 20-point game and his seventh of the season with 25 against Roanoke. The nation's leading rebounder (15.0) pulled down 18 boards to post his eighth double-double of the season. Parakhouski is 10th in the nation in scoring (22.5 points/game) entering Tuesday's game.

Laz Trifunovic' (Belgrade, Serbia) had his third double-figure scoring game in his first four games with a 22-point outing against the Maroons. The mark was his best at Radford, four shy of his career high of 26 set while with Binghamton (at Maine, Jan. 27, 2008).

The trio of Lynch-Flohr, Parakhouski and Trifunovic' had 25 of Radford's points during a game-changing 28-7 run in the first half that put away the Division III Maroons. They also combined for 54 of Radford's 64 points at top-ranked Kansas.

Under seventh-year head coach Tony Shaver, William & Mary is off to its best start since the 1977-78 campaign. The Tribe, who are averaging almost 11 threes per contest, come in 7-2 following a 94-48 win over Vassar Saturday afternoon.

Following Radford's matchup with William & Mary, the Highlanders will travel to Freedom Hall to take on Louisville (Dec. 27), before returning home for a televised (MASN) contest with George Mason on Dec. 30. RU's contest with Mason is the first of three straight at the Dedmon Center.

RADFORD vs. THE COMMONWEALTH
William & Mary is part of a stretch where the Highlanders will face two Virginia opponents in its next three games (George Mason - Dec. 30). Against in-state opponents, Radford is 151-126 (.545) all-time. Of those wins, 78 are against Division I opponents, including 32 against Liberty (32-22) and 17 against VMI (17-13).

RADFORD vs. THE COLONIAL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
William & Mary is the first of three CAA opponents for the Highlanders this season, including a televised home contest against George Mason (Dec. 30) and a make-up game at JMU later this season. JMU and Mason won better than 20 games last season, and this year's CAA foes are all at .500 or better with a combined 17 wins (W&M – 7-2).

Against current members of the CAA, Radford is 14-31. Among the current group, Radford has faced JMU (2-8), George Mason (3-11), William & Mary (2-3), VCU (3-5), Towson (3-3) and UNC Wilmington (1-1).
