“It felt great playing in front of family and friends tonight,” said Walker. “It was a sad, but a good feeling as I'm leaving on a high note," Walker on playing her last game in her home state. "This win gives us great momentum going into our final three Big South games, all at home," stated Walker.

“We played with tremendous energy tonight” said head coach Tajama Ngongba. “We had a great flow to our offense. Even though we got into a little bit of a drought in the second half, we were able to rebound and find that momentum to close out the game.”

Kate Jasinski and Sydnei Moss paced the Chants (14-12, 6-7 Big South) with 18 and 17 points, respectively.

Radford raced out to a 9-2 lead, hitting its first four shots. Coastal responded with a 10-2 run to take a 12-11 lead at 13:22. Moton and Coastal's Kate Jasinski each scored seven of their teams' first 11 points.
