Moss tallied a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds. She hit 11 of 12 free throws as the Chanticleers (12-5, 3-2 Big South) went 21-of-25 from the free throw line and hit 18 straight at one point during the contest.

The win by the Chanticleers kept them perfect at home (8-0) and ended the Highlanders' (5-12, 4-2) three-game winning streak.  Radford was tied for first place in the Big South standings entering Saturday's action.

Following redshirt senior Kymesha Alston's (Hampton, Va./Monmouth) basket at 14:05 that put the Highlanders up 36-32, Coastal Carolina's Elizabeth Wheeler started the game-changing run with a drive to the basket at 12:54.

Coming out of a media timeout, Coastal Carolina's Amanda Stull drained a three-pointer to give the Chanticleers the lead (37-36) for good with 11:35 remaining. Devin Rivers capped off the run with a bucket at 7:01 pushing CCU's advantage to 46-36.

Radford, which struggled from the free throw line all contest (8 of 16), hit one-of-two to end its 7:26 scoring drought, with 6:39 left. However, consecutive jumpers by Katie Ahaus and Moss pushed Coastal Carolina's lead to 13 (50-37) and it did not relinquish its double-digit lead the rest of the contest.

Alston finished with eight points and a team-best nine rebounds for the Highlanders. Freshman Da'Naria Erwin-Spencer netted a team-best 14 points, while junior Denay Wood (Bailey's Crossroads, Va./Annandale) added 11 points, seven rebounds and four steals.

Rivers contributed 11 points, while Stull chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals.

In an evenly contested first half (six ties, six lead changes), Coastal Carolina, behind solid free throw shooting, closed out the period with six straight points and the final two on a pair of tosses by Moss to break a 20-20 tie and take a 26-20 lead into halftime.

The Chanticleers hit their final nine free throws of the half and scored 10 of their last 14 first half points from the free throw line.

Moss led the Chanticleers with seven points. Wood and Erwin-Spencer paced the Highlanders with six points each.

Radford quickly erased its six-point half time deficit with a 10-2 run, taking a 30-28 lead on Alston's layup at 15:37. Her bucket gave the Highlanders their first lead since 6:36 of the first half.

Radford returns to the court on Monday, Jan. 25 at Charleston Southern for a 7 p.m. tip.
