RADFORD, Va. --
Radford will continue its stretch of five games in 10 days and begin a four-game road trip with a 7 p.m. tip at in-state foe James Madison Monday evening.

Monday's game was originally scheduled for Dec. 19, but was postponed due to hazardous travel conditions caused by last month's snowstorm.

Radford (10-8) meets the Dukes for the 11th time since 1985, and for the third straight season in a series that went on hiatus from 2000 through 2007. Wins for the Highlanders came in 1986 at JMU (Dec. 4 - 73-71) and in 1999 at the Dedmon Center (Dec. 11 - 69-67).

Last December, Radford got a pair of 20-point performances highlighted by a then-career best 23 from Joey Lynch-Flohr (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax), but couldn't hold off the Dukes in a late 6-1 run that gave JMU the lead for good in a 85-81 win at Peters Hall. Julius Wells (13 points) is the only returning double-digit scorer for the Dukes from last year's game.

The Highlanders have dropped three of their last five contests, including a 60-55 setback to Liberty Saturday night.

In its most recent outing, Radford connected on just one of its 22 attempts from behind the arc and the Flames used a 17-4 run early in the second half to erase a seven-point deficit and grab the lead for good.

Despite the loss, the Highlanders controlled the glass, 45-31 (18-3 offensive) and got 26 points and 15 rebounds from senior Art Parakhouski (Minsk, Belarus), who currently ranks among national leaders in scoring (4th), rebounding (2nd), field-goal percentage (4th) and double-doubles (T-1st).

Like Radford, JMU enters Monday's tilt having to play three games on just one day off in between each.

After winning six of their first 10 contests, James Madison has lost seven of its last nine and four straight, including a three-point (67-64) defeat at UNC Wilmington on Saturday night.

Denzel Bowles, who transferred from Texas A&M and became eligible for the 2010 spring semester, leads the Dukes in scoring (21.5) and rebounding (9.3). Wells and Darren White are also averaging double figure points for James Madison scoring 17.0 and 10.0 per contest, respectively.

Following Monday's contest in Harrisonburg, Radford will return to Big South play with a 7 p.m. contest at Gardner-Webb Thursday evening.
