RADFORD, Va. -- Radford women's basketball looks to return to the win column when in travels to Pittsburgh, Pa. Sunday afternoon. This will be a continuation of the Highlanders' three-game road swing when they face off against the Pitt Panthers at the Petersen Evens Center at 2 p.m.
In their last contest, the Highlanders dropped a tough 54-46 decision at Howard on Thursday night. The Bison used a 9-1 run to break a 34-all deadlock and defeat the Highlanders, 54-46 from Burr Gym. Da'Naria Erwin Spencer was the lone Highlander in double figures with 10 points. She also recorded a team-best four assists and career-best two blocks.
This is the first meeting between the schools and just the fourth school from the state of Pennsylvania Radford has ever faced. The Highlanders are 5-6 all-time against Keystone State squads.
The Highlanders conclude the three-game stretch at George Mason on Friday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m.
