The Highlanders (5-19, 4-9 Big South), amid an eight-game slide after a home loss to Coastal Carolina on Monday, look to get back on track and build momentum going into the Big South Conference Tournament when they face the Blue Hose in the Templeton Center.

Presbyterian (5-21/3-9) is also looking to get back on track as well, having dropped its last four contests. The Blue Hose return home after a road defeat at High Point on Monday evening.

Radford looks to remain undefeated against the Blue Hose, holding a 6-0 mark against Presbyterian. The Highlander won the first meeting of the season, 59-35 in the Dedmon Center on Jan. 18.

Along with holding Presbyterian to just one first-half field goal, Radford shot a season-high 50 percent and cruised to its third straight win with a 59-34 victory in the first meeting on Jan. 18.

Radford, which held the Blue Hose to a school-record for lowest points total in a half (5), scored the first 13 points of the contest and stretched its lead to as many as 26 (31-5) on a Da'Naria Erwin Spencer (Charlotte, N.C./East Mecklenburg) jumper with 12 seconds remaining in the half.

It was the fewest points allowed in the first half since holding Liberty to eight on Jan. 21, 2001 and in a game since Jan. 3, 2008 against USC Upstate (34).

After being held to just five percent shooting (1-20) in the first 20 minutes of action, Presbyterian connected on 41.7 percent (10-24) of its attempts in the second half to finish with a 25 percent (11-44) clip.
Erwin Spencer, the two-time league freshman of the week, and Jewell Kinlaw paced the Highlanders with 13 points each.

A 16-3 first half run and three players in double figures keyed Coastal Carolina in a 62-50 victory over Radford, Monday evening from the Dedmon Center.

Sydnei Moss led all scorers with 17 points to go along with nine rebounds. Devin Rivers added a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double and Kendra Reynolds added 14 for the Chanticleers. River also registered a game-high four steals.

Kymesha Alston (Hampton, Va./Manhattan) recorded her third double-double of the season for the Highlanders with 10 points and a game-best 12 rebounds. Freshman Da'Naria Erwin Spencer led the Highlanders with 11 points.

Coastal Carolina used its 16-3 run to erase a four-point first half deficit and take a 30-23 lead into halftime. Moss paced the Chanticleers with a half-high eight points. Alston led the Highlanders with seven points and seven rebounds.

Presbyterian is currently on a four-game slide after falling at High Point, 72-61 on Monday night. The Blue Hose are currently a half-game behind the Highlanders in eighth place at 3-9 in the league standings.

Mariah Pietrowski leads the Blue Hose averaging 10.8 points per game, while shooting a Big South-best 58.8 percent from the field.

Up next for the Highlanders is a Monday evening tilt at UNC Asheville at 7 p.m.
