TEAM / INDIVIDUAL LEADERBOARD
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Lane Hite fired an even-par 71 and the Radford men's golf team sits tied for 11th out of 22 teams following the opening round of the 2010 C&F Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary.
The 36-hole/120-competitor event is being played on Par 71, 6,831-yard Kingsmill Resort River Course layout.
Hite will enter the final round just two strokes off the lead, which is currently held by three individuals.
As a team, the Highlanders carded a 300 and are just 12 strokes behind the Missouri Tigers, who currently sit atop the team leaderboard.
Freshman
Wade Wawner is three back of Hite in a tie for 33rd, while
Kyle Bailey is tied for 46th after a four-over 75.
Also competing for Radford are
Paul Woodson and
Weston Eklund, who both opened with an 80.
The second and final round will begin Tuesday morning.
