HARRISONBURG, Va. – In addition to holding Radford to a .000 hitting percentage, James Madison recorded 10 total blocks en route to a 3-0 (14-25, 22-25, 15-25) victory over the Highlanders in non-conference volleyball action Tuesday night at Sinclair Gymnasium.
The loss drops Radford to 6-8 overall, while the Dukes improve 11-3.
Juniors Carly Fleming and Megan McWhorter led the Highlanders with seven kills each.
Defensively, freshman Storm Melnick paced Radford with a team-high 12 digs.
Lindsey Callahan and Kelly Turner led the Dukes with double-figure kills contributing 13 and 10, respectively.
The Highlanders will open conference play this weekend beginning with a 7 p.m. contest at Charleston Southern Friday followed by a Saturday tilt at Winthrop.
