Pregame Notes
-- For the second straight season, Radford will take part in the annual Bracketbusters when it travels to William & Mary for a 7 p.m. contest Saturday.

-- Last year, the Highlanders defeated UNC Wilmington 78-68 at the Dedmon Center in their Bracketbusters debut.

-- The Highlanders enter just the seventh meeting between these two in-state foes, 5-21 overall following a 52-49 overtime loss to Presbyterian.

-- Gardner-Webb's win at Coastal Carolina Tuesday eliminated Radford from postseason play.

-- Despite dropping 10 of their last 11, the Highlanders have led in the second half in six of those contests.

-- Along with being one of three Highlanders averaging around nine points per outing, Blake Smith (Charlotte, N.C. / United Faith Christian Academy) continues to lead the league in steals, contributing 2.5 per game, which is also 13th in the nation.

-- Tolga Cerrah (Ankara, Turkey / ODTU) (5.5), Johnathan Edwards (Queens, N.Y. / Tyler Junior College) (5.4) and Martins Abele (Saldus, N.Y. / Oak Hill) (5.1) lead the way on the glass averaging over five rebounds per outing.

-- The Highlanders are still in search of their first road win of the season.

-- Radford will continue its stretch of three straight away from home to conclude the 2010-11 season Thursday evening at Gardner-Webb.

Scouting the Tribe
-- William & Mary, which has lost eight of its last nine, enters the seventh all-time meeting with the Highlanders 7-20 overall following an 81-78 overtime loss at Hofstra Tuesday evening.

-- Quinn McDowell, who scored a career-high 27 points, including six treys against Radford a year ago, paces the Tribe on the offensive end averaging 15.3 points per game, while shooting 46 percent from long range, which is tops in the Colonial Athletic Association.

-- Brandon Britt (10.5) is also averaging double figures.

-- Marcus Kitts, who is averaging just under 10 points per outing, leads the team in rebounding (5.7) and field goal percentage (.569).

-- As a team, the Tribe have struggled on the defensive end forcing just under 10 turnovers per game.

-- 10 of William & Mary's 20 losses this season have come by five points or less.
