RADFORD, Va. -- Radford softball is set to host the annual Radford Invitational from March 18-20 at the Botetourt Sports Complex in Botetourt, Va. The Highlanders welcome Ball State, Delaware, Georgetown, Pittsburgh and Robert Morris for this three-day tournament in the Roanoke Valley.

Radford opens play on Friday at 3 p.m. against Pittsburgh and then Robert Morris at approximately 5 p.m. The Highlanders face off with Ball State and Georgetown on Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m. and close out the tournament versus Delaware at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Playing on two fields, the tourney begins on Friday at 1 p.m. as Pitt and Robert Morris face off on Field 2,  Delaware and Ball State square off on Field 3.

The Invitational is also being associated with breast cancer awareness. All weekend fans will have an opportunity by purchase cancer awareness trinkets with all proceeds going towards Susan G. Komen for the Cure® the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested nearly $1.5 billion since inception in 1982.
