CONWAY, S.C. Radford women's basketball looks to end a two-game skid and will conclude its first Big South road series Monday evening against Coastal Carolina at Kimbel Arena.  Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.

SERIES HISTORY
♦ Radford is 38-15 all-time against the Chanticleers.  Last season, Coastal Carolina came away with a one-point win, 55-54, in the meeting at Kimbel. The two squads split the series a year ago, each winning on their home court.

THE OPENING TIP
♦ The Highlanders have never lost in league play on Jan. 16 and have won nine straight games on this date.
♦ The Highlanders have allowed 70 or more points in each of the last six games (1-5).
Da'Naria Erwin Spencer and Ashley Buckhannon continue to pace the Highlander offense with 16.8 and 14.5 points per contest, respectively.  Erwin Spencer has posted double figures in 22 of her last 25 games and has five outings of 20-plus points this season.
♦ Buckhannon, Ayana Avery and Katherine Brockett have combined for 194 of Radford's 220 three-point attempts (.882).  In addition, the trio has 63 of the Highlanders' 69 (.913) makes from long range.
♦ Radford ranks first in the Big South in free-throw shooting at 73.8 percent (175-237).  Despite being the league standard, the Highlanders have only edged the opposition in attempts in one game this season (George Washington).

LAST TIME OUT
♦ Radford put three players, Erwin Spencer (17), Avery (15) and Victoria Hamilton (10), in double figures but was unable to overcome 21 second half three throws by Charleston Southern as the Buccaneers took a 79-69 league decision.  The Radford bench kept the Highlanders in the game with a 23-6 advantage.

SCOUTING THE CHANTICLEERS
♦ Coastal Carolina is very balanced offensively, as four players average nine points or better.  Shatia Cole leads the way at 10.5 points per game.
♦ Shanika Maddox fills up the stat sheet, averaging 9.4 points per game and 9.0 rebounds, with more than half coming on the offensive glass.
♦ After opening up 2-0 in league play, the Chanticleers have lost their last three games to Asheville, Gardner-Webb and Liberty on Saturday.
