GAME NOTES | LIVE STATS | LIVE AUDIO | LIVE VIDEO

RADFORD, Va. Radford women's basketball concludes its four-game home stand and looks to take its second straight league win with a 7 p.m. contest against High Point on Monday.

THE OPENING TIP
♦ Radford (7-6, 1-1 Big South) is 5-3 all-time when playing on Jan. 9.  The Highlanders have won eight straight games in the month on January and own a 12-1 record under head coach Tajama Abraham Ngongba. The only loss in the Ngongba era in the month was ironically on Jan. 9, 2010 against High Point, 67-78.
Da'Naria Erwin Spencer and Ashley Buckhannon continue to pace the Highlanders in scoring at 16.7 and 14.7 points per contest, respectively.  Erwin Spencer has posted double figures in 20 of her last 23 games and has five outings of 20-plus points this season.  Each have reached 20 or more points in back-to-back contests this year, standing as two of six players in the Big South to accomplish that feat.
♦ The frontcourt duo of Victoria Hamilton and Sarah Tabb are averaging 7.2 and 6.0 rebounds per game, respectively.
♦ Buckhannon and freshman Ayana Avery have combined for 151 of Radford's 192 three-point attempts (.786).  In addition, the duo has 47 of the Highlanders' 58 (.810) makes from long range.  Avery ranks fifth in the Big South at a 35 percent clip.
♦ Radford ranks first in the Big South in free-throw shooting at a 74 percent clip (149-201).  Even with the high percentage, the Highlanders haven't broken 80 percent in a single game this year.

LAST TIME OUT
♦ Radford got its first league win of the year with an 80-70 decision over Campbell at home.  Erwin Spencer led all scorers with 21 points, her fifth such effort this season.  Jordynn Gaymon came off the bench to record career-highs in points and rebounds with 8 and 12, respectively, in just 15 minutes of action.  Katherine Brockett also tallied a career-high 13 points courtesy of a perfect day from long range (3-for-3).

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
♦ High Point (8-6, 3-0 Big South) is coming off a 73-69 overtime road win against Liberty on Saturday.  The Panthers are currently atop the league standings.
♦ Three players average double figures for High Point.  Preseason all-conference pick Shamia Brown leads the way at 14.9 points per game, Erin Reynolds tallies 14.1 and Cheyenne Parker nets 13.1.  Parker also pulls down 11.1 rebounds per game.
