HIGHLANDERS LOOKING TO SNAP LOSING STREAK AT HOME VS. CENTRAL PENN

The Radford men's basketball team returns from the Christmas holiday with sights on snapping its current four-game losing streak when the Highlanders play host Saturday afternoon to Central Penn. Tip is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Dedmon Center.

THE SERIES
♦ Radford leads the all-time series, 1-0. The two teams met last year in the fourth game of the season, which the Highlanders won 78-49 at the Dedmon Center.
Javonte Green recorded his first career double-double in that contest with 13 points and 10 rebounds. He also had five steals. Blake Smith also added eight points and five rebounds in the win.

♦ Each Radford men's basketball game can be heard live in the New River Valley on the RU Sports Radio Network on the flagship, WRVU 89.9-FM and on the commercial affiliate, WBLB 1340-AM. Former Highlander Stephen Barber is the color analyst for home games, while Tom Galbraith adds color commentary for RU road games.

SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS                                                                                                             
♦ Central Penn is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and is from Summerdale, Penn.
♦ The Knights enter Saturday's game with a 9-7 overall record and a 1-1 mark in conference play. The Knights snapped a six-game losing streak on Dec. 15 with a 108-86 victory at Jamestown College - Olean.
♦ Central Penn has dropped two other games this season vs. Big South Conference opponents, 116-81 at VMI, and 88-75 at Longwood.
♦ The Knights are one of the highest-scoring teams in the USCAA averaging 83.4 points per game. They have broken the 90-point mark seven times on the season, including 119 points against Thadeus Stevens College of Technology.
♦ Devon Dorsey has put up impressive individual numbers in averaging 21.1 points and 11.7 rebounds per game.

LINEUP SHUFFLE
R.J. Price continues healing from an injured ankle. Price has missed the last two games against Charlotte and West Virginia. If he does not start, expect Rashun Davis, who has started in his place in each of those missed games.

Javonte Green recorded his seventh career and third double-double of the season at West Virginia with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Rashun Davis set a career high with seven assists at West Virginia.
