RADFORD, Va. Winners of its last six games, Radford women's basketball welcomes Charleston Southern to the Dedmon Center Monday night for a 7 p.m. tip. 
 
SERIES HISTORY
♦ Radford holds a commanding 41-17 advantage all-time.  In home contests against the Buccaneers, Radford is nearly unbeatable and carries a 24-3 record.   Radford has dropped four of the last six matchups, but won at home a year ago, 60-56.  Earlier this season in Charleston, the Buccaneers defeated Radford, 79-69. 
 
THE OPENING TIP
♦ The six-game winning streak is the longest since 2006-07 and longest in league play since 1995-96.  Over the course of the streak, the Highlanders have held the opposition to just 50.7 points per game, is 76 percent (62-82) from the line as a team and has forced 135 turnovers (22.5 avg.).  In addition, Radford is averaging 13.8 steals over that span.
♦ The winner of this game will move into third place outright in the conference standings, as each team enters 7-5. 
♦ Da'Naria Erwin Spencer recently eclipsed 1,000 career points. She is the reigning Big South Player of the Week and has collected the honor four times this year. She paces the offense with 17.2 points per game while Ashley Buckhannon (Wytheville, Va./George Wythe) drops in 14.4 points. 
♦ Radford leads the Big South in steals and ranks 11th in the nation with 12.8 per game. 
♦ Victoria Hamilton and Sarah Tabb lead the Highlanders in rebounds with 7.2 and 5.8 per game, respectively.  Over the last six games, Hamilton, Tabb and Ashia Holmes have collected 106 of Radford's 223 boards and 46 of 90 offensive rebounds.
 
LAST TIME OUT
♦ Radford got 14 points from Buckhannon and 10 from Erwin Spencer to cruise past Coastal Carolina at home, 55-43, for its sixth straight win.  The Highlanders used a 17-2 run over the final ten minutes of the first half to go ahead 27-10 at the break and wouldn't look back.
 
SCOUTING THE BUCCANEERS
♦ Charleston Southern has won three of its last four games, with the lone loss coming on Saturday in a double overtime decision, 69-77, at Liberty. 
♦ The Buccaneers are led by Rachelle Coward's 18.2 points per game, second in the conference.  Lakeitha Alston is just behind Coward in scoring with 15.2 points per game and has a team-best 5.6 boards per contest. 
♦ Charleston Southern leads the league with 9.4 3-pointers made per game, 3-point percentage (.353) and is first in free throw percentage (72.1).
