ROCK HILL, S.C. – Radford women's basketball ends a brief road stint when it heads to Rock Hill, S.C. on Monday to square off against Winthrop. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
SERIES HISTORY
♦ In the longest standing series for the Highlanders, Radford owns a 52-11 overall mark against Winthrop. At Rock Hill, the Highlanders are 22-5.
THE OPENING TIP
♦ Radford is looking to rebound from a loss at Presbyterian on Saturday. The setback snapped a seven-game winning streak, one that began and ended against the Blue Hose.
♦ The Highlanders look to avenge a 66-64 loss at home to the Eagles on Jan. 21. Radford's go-ahead attempt at the buzzer fell short.

Ayana Averymissed off the back of the rim and Presbyterian escaped with the come-from-behind victory. Despite the loss, Buckhannon tallied 15 points while Avery netted 13 off the bench.
SCOUTING THE EAGLES
♦ Winthrop, 14-11, 8-5 in Big South play, enter Monday's matchup fresh off an upset of Liberty, 71-69, on Saturday.
♦ The Big South's scoring and assist leader Dequesha McClanahan comes in averaging 20.4 points and 7.4 assists per game. Diana Choibekova, who netted 25 against the Highlanders on Jan. 21, averages 16.2 points per game while Simiya Wright turns in 12.5 per contest.
♦ Choiebekova (25), Wright (21) and McClanahan (18) led the way in the scoring column in the two-point upset of league-leading Liberty. McClanahan also dished out 9 dimes.
