MEN’S GOLF CURRENTLY IN THIRD AT CHARLESTON SHOOTOUT

RESULTS
RADFORD, Va. – Led by Paul Woodson's 141 (-3), Radford men's golf has three players currently within the individual Top-15, while the team sits in third place after the completion of two rounds in the Charleston Shootout on Monday.
Radford's foursome carded a season-low 285 (-3) in the first round and followed that up with a 286 (-2) to place third behind No. 25 Florida and No. 46 Augusta State. The Highlanders are just two shots back of Augusta State while Florida holds the team lead with a 557 (-19).
Woodson tallied eight birdies, dropped an eagle and is currently tied for sixth place in a field of 90 players.
Weston Eklund is just behind Woodson in 11th place courtesy of a two-under 142 through 36 holes. Eklund set a new 36-hole personal-best and charted nine birdies on the day.
Michael Wade was the other Highlander within the Top-15, currently positioned in a tie for 13th with a one-under 143.
Callum Tarren recorded a pair of 74 rounds to finish the day at 148, a new career-low 36-hole score, and is tied for 33rd.
After a 79 over the first 18 holes, Ryan Rettberg, playing as an individual, returned to shoot a one-under 71 in the second round. Entering the final 18 holes, Rettberg is tied for 43rd with a six-over 150.
Final round action gets underway Tuesday morning.
