RADFORD, Va. –
Big South-leading Radford continues its three-match road stretch when the Highlanders battle Liberty inside the Vines Center in a key conference collision on the volleyball court Friday at 7 p.m.

LIBERTY SERIES AT A GLANCE
The Lady Flames will be seeking to avenge a 3-0 (28-26, 26-24, 25-19) setback to Radford when the two sides meet for the 68th time Friday night. The Highlanders' victory broke a 24-match winning streak by Liberty in the all-time series, which the Lady Flames lead, 41-26.

SCOUTING THE LADY FLAMES
Liberty split its two road matches last weekend, defeating Presbyterian College in three sets before dropping a five-set decision to Winthrop. Since starting the season 1-14, the Lady Flames have produced a 5-2 mark in their previous seven matches.

Lillie Happel and Caroline Douglas lead the attack with 3.07 and 2.79 kills per set, respectively. Jade Craycraft, who has delivered two triple-doubles this season, tosses out 8.20 assists per set.

Gabrielle Shipe anchors the defense with 3.66 digs a game, while Kendle Rollins averages just over one block per frame. Liberty tops the conference with its 2.29 blocks per set.

SCOUTING THE HIGHLANDERS
Rachel Wiechecki (339), Big South Player of the Week Cheyanne James (268) and Jordan Watson (219) pace the Highlanders offensively. Wiechecki has racked up 43 aces, in addition to ranking third in the league for kills per set (3.39) and eighth in digs per set (3.30). She also leads the league with her 14 double-doubles.

Jena Braden guides the team in assists having registered 775 so far this year. Emma Deininger leads the team in total blocks (107), which is the highest mark in the Big South. Her ledger is only 11 blocks away from breaking the single-season record set by Katie Sherwood.

As a team, Radford leads the league in hitting percentage (.249), opponent's hitting percentage (.173) and blocks (239), while ranking third in assists per set (11.82), second in kills per set (12.87) and fourth in aces per set (1.34).

RECORD WATCH
A number of current Highlanders are making their marks on the program's record books. Wiechecki continues to chase the top mark for career kills, which is currently held by Divona Cox who cranked 1,066 kills from 2002-05. The junior's tally sits at 856 entering this weekend. She is also second in career kills per set (2.87), second in double-doubles (31), fourth in aces (105) and sixth in digs (813). Braden is fourth all-time in the assists' department with 1,814, while Rachel Flores is 10th with 342.

Defensively, Deininger (300) and Miedema (164) are second and seventh, respectively, in total blocks. In addition, Deininger is second in block assists (266), while Miedema is sixth (153). Deininger also knows how to get it done offensively as the junior is seventh all-time in career kills with 622.
