Radford hosts Chattanooga in the first home game of the men's basketball season Monday at the Dedmon Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. It is Military Appreciation Night in honor of Veteran's Day. All military personnel gain free admission with identification.

SERIES NOTES
• This will be the second meeting all-time between Radford and Chattanooga.
• The Mocs won the only previous matchup, 70-56 in the 1997-98 season.

HOME OPENERS
• The Highlanders have not lost a home opener in 10 straight seasons. The last team to defeat RU in its first game of the season in Dedmon was Hampton in the 2002-03 season. The Pirates won in overtime, 63-58.
• Radford is 2-0 all-time in home openers with Mike Jones as head coach. The Highlanders defeated Delaware, 58-54 in 2011-12 and Cincinnati Christian, 76-71 (ot) in 2012-13.

THE HIGHLANDERS
Radford (0-1) dropped a 76-54 decision Friday at George Washington in its season opener. The Highlanders were led by Ya Ya Anderson's 15 points off the bench.

THE MOCS
Chattanooga opened its season Friday with a 119-56 victory over Covenant, an NCAA Division III school that was playing the game as an exhibition. The Mocs had seven players score in double figures in the game led by Gee McGhee's 19.
