Radford continues its play Wednesday in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic when it visits UNLV for a 10:00 p.m. (ET) start at the Thomas & Mack Center. This is the first of three games this week for the Highlanders in Las Vegas and the second game of the Classic after Monday's loss at Santa Clara.

SERIES NOTES
• This will be the first meeting all-time between Radford and UNLV.

• Each Radford men's basketball game can be heard live in the New River Valley on the RU Sports Radio Network on the campus flagship, WRVU 89.9-FM and on the commercial affiliate, SuperSports 101.7-FM. Rick Watson handles the play-by-play for the Highlanders.

SCOUTING THE RUNNIN' REBELS
• After 6 straight games at home to open the season, UNLV (4-4) played two road games losing a close one at then-No. 2 Arizona (63-58) on Dec. 7, then beating Southern Utah (73-51) on Saturday. In the loss to the undefeated Wildcats, the Runnin' Rebels held what is now the nation's top-ranked team to its lowest scoring output of the season and its third-closest game in terms of margin of victory.
• Roscoe Smith, who leads the nation in rebounding average with 14.1 rpg, has five double-doubles and a 22-rebound performance. Smith (12.3 ppg, 14.1 rpg) is averaging a double-double.
• Khem Birch, who has four double-doubles this season, is third in the country in blocked shots with 4.4 per contest.
• Bryce Dejean-Jones leads the team in scoring at 13.0 ppg.
• UNLV is 37-5 in their last 42 games at the Thomas & Mack Center.

• With 8 rebounds at Binghamton, Javonte Green surpassed 500 for his career. He now has 528.
