RADFORD, Va.  –
Playing for the second time in three days, the Radford women's basketball team travels across the Commonwealth for a Dec. 18 battle in Williamsburg, Va. against William & Mary at 7 p.m.

MEET THE TRIBE
» Wednesday's game marks the first time William & Mary will play a game since Dec. 5.
» In the Tribe's last time out, they dropped a 73-59 nonconference tilt against La Salle. Junior Jazmen Boone scored a career-high-tying 24 points to lead all scorers.
» Radford is the fourth Big South opponent for William & Mary this season. The Tribe has already lost to Longwood, High Point and Winthrop.
» William & Mary averages 62.7 ppg and gives up 74.9 ppg. The Green and Gold take care of the rock, committing fewer turnovers than their opponents in five of their seven games this season.
» On the flip side, William & Mary has forced at least 20 turnovers in three of its seven contests.
» Kaitlyn Mathieu guides the Tribe in scoring and rebounding with 13.9 ppg and 7.9 rpg.
» Like Radford, William & Mary is under the direction of a first-year head coach. Ed Swanson took over the reigns of the program in March of this year. For the second time this season, a game on the Highlanders' schedule will feature a battle between first-year head coaches (Clemson was the other).

WILLIAM & MARY SERIES AT A GLANCE
» The Tribe and RU will meet for the 21st time on the hardwood Wednesday. Having won two of the previous three encounters, including last season's duel, the Highlanders own a commanding 15-5 advantage in the all-time series.

UP NEXT
» The Highlanders renew their New River rivalry with Virginia Tech Saturday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. inside the Dedmon Center. The two sides have not met since 2010.
