RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's basketball team continues its three-game homestand Saturday by welcoming Charleston Southern into the Dedmon Center for a 2 p.m. Big South clash.

MEET THE BUCCANEERS
» After opening with a 3-2 ledger, CSU has dropped its last four contests. Included in those four losses is its 61-46 defeat at home against UNC Asheville.
» In the Buccaneers' last time out, they suffered a 72-63 setback to Savannah State at the Buc Dome. Freshman Tatum Jarvis narrowly missed her first career double-double in leading CSU with 25 points and nine rebounds.
» DJ Fowler directs the offense with her 10.9 ppg, which rank 16th in the Big South. She connects on 53.7 percent of her attempts from the floor, which is the third-best efficiency in the league. In addition, Fowler dishes out three assists per outing and leads the Big South in steals per game (4.11).
» Erin Bratcher also reaches double-figure scoring at 10 ppg. Jarvis is right behind at 9.7 ppg. Bratcher ranks third in the Big South in 3-pointers made per game (2.11).
» Anicia Dotson pulls down six rebounds per contest for the Bucs. As a team, CSU averages 36.9 rpg.
» The Bucs average 58 ppg, while surrendering 67.9 ppg. They only convert 62 percent of their free-throw attempts and allow their opponents to shoot 43.1 percent from the hardwood.
» CSU ranks second in the Big South in steals per game (9.67) and third in 3-pointers made per game (5.78).
» Fred Applin is in his second season guiding the Bucs, which earned the 10th seed for the 2013 VisitMyrtleBeach.com Big South Women's Basketball Tournament earlier this year. Applin has coaching experience at a number of high profile schools such as North Carolina, Texas, Wake Forest, Houston and Washington.

» Radford has won five of the previous six meetings in the all-time series, which the Highlanders lead, 43-17. RU has protected its home turf in this battle as well, posting a staggering 26-3 mark against the Bucs.
