MEN'S HOOPS HOSTS NCAA TEAM FROM LAST SEASON, NORTH CAROLINA A&T VISITS DEDMON SATURDAY

Radford hosts North Carolina A&T at the Dedmon Center on Saturday. The Aggies are the defending MEAC Tournament champions and defeated Liberty in the First Four of the NCAA Tournament in 2013. Tip is set for 4:00 p.m. for the final home game before the beginning of the semester break for the Highlanders.

SERIES NOTES
• Radford leads the all-time series, 5-2. The Aggies won last year's matchup in Greensboro, 81-77. Prior to last year's Aggies' victory, the Highlanders had won four straight in the series.
• Radford is 3-0 all-time vs. North Carolina A&T in games played at the Dedmon Center.
• Radford is 25-10 all-time vs. current members of the MEAC (Bethune-Cookman 2-0; Coppin State 1-0; Delaware State 1-0; Florida A&M 1-1; Hampton 3-3; Howard 1-2; Maryland-Eastern Shore 4-0; Morgan State 4-0; Norfolk State 2-2; North Carolina A&T 5-2; South Carolina State 1-0).

SCOUTING THE AGGIES
• North Carolina A&T stands at 3-5 after a 62-59 home victory Thursday over Wright State. The Aggies have won two of their last three games, including a neutral site win over another Big South foe, Longwood.
• Lamont Middleton and Richaud Pack both average over 18 points per game for the Aggies. Bruce Beckford nearly averages a double-double at 11.0 points and a team-high 7.8 rebounds per contest.
• The Aggies finished last season winning the MEAC Tournament and earning the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.
• Head coach Cy Alexander was an assistant coach during Mike Jones' playing days at Howard University.

• With 8 rebounds at Binghamton, Javonte Green surpassed 500 for his career. He now has 516.
• Countdown to 1,000 career points: Javonte Green needs 93 (903), R.J. Price needs 154 (846).

• Javonte Green ranks 6th all-time at RU with 196 career offensive rebounds.
• Javonte Green ranks tied for fourth all-time at Radford with a career rebounding average of 7.4 per game.
• R.J. Price ranks 8th all-time in career three-point field goals made with 157.
• Radford is 7-3 in its last 10 home games.
• Mike Jones is now 16-16 all-time in home games at the Dedmon Center.
• Radford is 5-2 for the first time since the 2005-06 season. The Highlanders have not been 6-2 since the 1993-94 season when RU defeated LSU on the road to move to 6-2 on the season.
