RU TRAVELS TO COASTAL LOOKING TO GET BACK TO WINNING WAYS

RADFORD, Va. -
Radford will look to bounce back Saturday after a tough loss to VMI earlier in the week. The Highlanders head to Coastal Carolina for a 2:00 p.m. tip at the brand new HTC Center, which will host this year's Big South Tournament.

SCOUTING THE CHANTICLEERS
♦ Coastal Carolina enters Saturday's game with a 9-10 overall record and a 4-4 mark in the Big South Conference.
♦ The Chanticleers are 8-2 at home this season and 3-0 in conference games at the new HTC Center, which will be the home of the 2013 Big South Tournament.
♦ CCU is the league's top rebounding team with a +6.0 rebound per game average over its opponents.
♦ Anthony Raffa leads the team in scoring at 19.1 ppg. That ranks him second in the Big South in points per game. Raffa also ranks fourth in the league in steals at 1.9 per game.
♦ Kierre Greenwood averages 13.0 points per game. He is also fourth in the conference in assists at 4.4 per game. He is tied with Raffa at 1.9 steals per game and shoots 84.0 percent from the free throw line.
♦ El Hadji Ndieguene leads the team in rebounding at 7.2 per game, which ranks seventh in the Big South.

STATS NUGGETS
♦ The Highlanders lead the Big South in steals per game at 9.6. That ranks the team 13th in the nation in that category.
Javonte Green leads the Big South in steals at 2.3 per game.
Javonte Green recorded his fifth double-double this season with 13 points and 13 rebounds vs. Longwood. He now has 12 career double-doubles.
R.J. Price leads the Big South in three-point field goals made per game at 3.1.
R.J. Price scored a career-high 30 points vs. Longwood. Price became the first Highlander since Art Parakhouski (2/2/10 vs. VMI) to score 30 points in a game.
R.J. Price's 30-foot buzzer beater for the win at Gardner-Webb was just the first of his game-winners in RU one-point victories. Price also hit the final shot with just under a minute to play in the Highlanders' 58-57 win over Winthrop.
Brandon Holcomb grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds at Gardner-Webb.
Blake Smith currently ranks fourth in career steals at RU with 181. He is just two steals from tying for third all-time.
Rashun Davis dished out a Radford season-high and career-high eight assists at Campbell.
