RU VISITS LEXINGTON WEDNESDAY LOOKING TO EXTEND WINNING WAYS

RADFORD, Va. -
Fresh off an impressive 76-65 win over Presbyterian that snapped a three-game losing streak, Radford travels Wednesday to VMI for a 7:00 p.m. start at Cameron Hall. The Keydets scored an improbable comeback victory two weeks ago inside the Dedmon Center and stand alone in second place in the North Division of the Big South, a game and a half in front of the Highlanders.

SCOUTING THE KEYDETS
♦ VMI enters Wednesday's game with an 11-11 overall mark and a 6-4 record in the Big South. The Keydets currently stand alone in second play in the North Division standings.
♦ The Keydets are led by Big South preseason player of the year, Stan Okoye. He leads the league in scoring at 21.3 ppg and rebounding at 9.3 rpg. He ranks 6th in the country in scoring and 36th in rebounding.
♦ Okoye is not VMI's only threat, however. D.J. Covington is 16th in the Big South in scoring at 13.5 ppg and 7th in rebounding at 7.4 rpg. Covington leads the conference in field goal percentage at .541 from the floor and also in blocked shots at 3.05 per game. He is 10th in the NCAA in blocks.
♦ Rodney Glasgow is 3rd in the league in assists at 4.9 apg. Glasgow also averages in double figures at 10.5 ppg.
♦ VMI is the top scoring team in the Big South at 78.4 ppg. That ranks the Keydets 7th in the country in scoring. They hit an average of 9.1 three-point field goals per game, which ranks atop the Big South and 7th in the nation.

Javonte Green recorded his 7th double-double this season with 27 points and 13 rebounds vs. Presbyterian. That followed a 23-point, 13-rebound performance at Liberty. He now has 14 career double-doubles.

Javonte Green and VMI's Stan Okoye were named co-Big South Players of the Week for their respective performances last week.
♦ After making 20-23 free throws vs. Presbyterian, the Highlanders raised their shooting percentage from the line over 15 percentage points from .618 to .631 on the year.
♦ Radford is 5-0 this season when holding opponents under 60 points.
