RADFORD, Va. - Radford has climbed its way back into third place in the Big South North Division with a pair of consecutive wins over Presbyterian and at VMI. The Highlanders travel to Longwood on Saturday in an effort to sweep the season series from the Lancers and keep the pressure on VMI and High Point above them in the league standings.
SCOUTING THE LANCERS
♦ Longwood enters today's game with a 4-22 overall record and a 1-11 mark in the Big South Conference's North Division.
♦ The Lancers have lost 15 of 16 games, including a 14-game losing streak that was snapped a week ago with their first-ever Big South win at Winthrop, 62-56.
♦ Longwood ranks last in the NCAA (345th) in defensive scoring giving up 81.3 points per game. The Lancers are 344th in field goal percentage defense (49.8) and 341st in three-point field goal percentage defense (39.7). LU is 337th in turnovers per game committing 17.3 per game.
