KINGSMILL SET TO HOST STRONG FIELD FOR C&F BANK INTERCOLLEGIATE

RADFORD, Va. – Coming off its team title at the Bash at the Beach, the Radford men's golf team travels to Williamsburg, Va. for the 36th edition of the C&F Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at the par 70, 6,765-yard Kingsmill Resort River Course. The three-day tournament begins Sunday, March 24.
Highlighting the 32-team field are 16th-ranked Florida State, 27th-ranked Tennessee and 97th-ranked Richmond.
In addition to those three squads are Appalachian State, Binghamton, Boston College, Bowling Green, Bucknell, Drake, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, George Mason, Georgetown, High Point, IPFW, James Madison, Longwood, Loyola (Md.), Marquette, Michigan, Mt. St. Mary's, Notre Dame, Radford, Rutgers, St. Joseph's, St. Peter's, Toledo, Towson, UNC Greensboro, William & Mary, Wright State and Xavier.
Each team will compete for 54 holes on one of the finest golf courses in the Commonwealth. The Pete Dye-designed layout, which borders the James River, has played host to both the PGA and the LPGA tours. For the second year in a row, the resort is hosting the LPGA's Kingsmill Championship, which is set for April 29-May 5 on the River Course.
