RADFORD, Va.  – The Radford women's basketball team continues its three-game homestand Saturday at 2 p.m. against UNC Asheville inside the Dedmon Center.

MEET THE BULLDOGS
» Trailing 65-64 with just over 10 seconds remaining in Thursday's Big South tilt at Longwood, sophomore guard Paige Love dialed up a 3-pointer from the top of the key to put UNC Asheville on top for good as the Bulldogs prevailed, 69-65. It was UNC Asheville's third conference victory of the season and second in three outings. In addition, the squad is 2-1 on the road in Big South play after recording its first-ever win in Farmville, Va.
» The Bulldogs can relate to the season Radford is having as they went 2-28 in Brenda Mock Kirkpatrick's first year at the helm.
» Junior guard Brittany Gwyn leads UNC Asheville in scoring at 10.1 points per game, and is the only player to average double figures for her squad.
» Tianna Knuckles and Love contribute 9.5 and 9.1 points per game, respectively. Knuckles, a freshman guard, has scored in double figures five of her previous seven games.
» Gwyn and Knuckles are the Bulldogs' top 3-point threats as both have drilled 20 this season.
» Gwyn tops the Big South in free throw shooting at 83.7 percent (41-49). Leah Wormack converts 82 percent (41-50) of her attempts, which is the fourth-best percentage in the league. With two players in the top four of the individual standings, UNC Asheville ranks fourth in free throw shooting (72.8 percent) as a team.
» The Bulldogs have the lowest field goal percentage in the league at 34.8 percent.
