FINAL NON-LEAGUE TILT AT HAMPTON ON SATURDAY

Radford rides a four-game winning streak into its final non-Big South scheduled game of the season Saturday when the Highlanders travel to across the Commonwealth to face Hampton. The Pirates will play host to RU at the Convocation Center in Hampton, Va. for a 4:00 p.m. tip.

SERIES NOTES
• Radford and Hampton have met six times prior to Saturday's game with each team winning three. RU won last year's matchup at the Dedmon Center, 73-64, led by Javonte Green's double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
• Radford is 1-1 vs. the Pirates in games played in Hampton, Va.
• Radford is 26-10 all-time vs. current members of the MEAC (Bethune-Cookman 2-0; Coppin State 1-0; Delaware State 1-0; Florida A&M 1-1; Hampton 3-3; Howard 1-2; Maryland-Eastern Shore 4-0; Morgan State 4-0; Norfolk State 2-2; North Carolina A&T 6-2; South Carolina State 1-0).

SCOUTING THE PIRATES
• The Pirate enter Saturday's game with a 6-7 overall record and a 2-0 mark in MEAC league play.
• HU is 1-1 vs. the Big South this season, including a double-overtime home win over Winthrop (101-95) in its last outing. Liberty defeated the Pirates 70-53 in a neutral site game in Corpus Christi, Texas.
• Hampton has won four of its last six games and is 4-1 at home this season.
• Du'Vaughn Maxwell leads the Pirates in scoring (14.5) and rebounding (6.8). He is also sixth in the nation in blocked shots with 49.
• Deron Powers leads the team in assists (4.6) and also scores in double figures (12.3).

PROJECTED STARTING LINEUP
• This lineup (R.J. Price, Ya Ya Anderson, Kyle Noreen, Javonte Green, and Brandon Holcomb) has started together 17 (11-6) times overall and 12 times (9-3) this season. Mike Jones has used three different starting lineups during the 2013-14 season.

MILESTONES
• Javonte Green became RU's 20th all-time 1,000-point scorer with his 7th point of 22 vs. Houghton. He now has 1,032 points and 566 rebounds.
• R.J. Price needs 36 (964) points to become the 21st member of the 1,000-point club.

QUICK NOTES
• Radford is 10-4 for the first time since the 1993-94 season. The 93-94 team started the season 13-4.
• Prior to this season, RU has never had double-digit wins prior to Big South Conference play.
• Javonte Green ranks 5th all-time with 215 career offensive rebounds.
• Javonte Green has 17 career double-doubles.
• Brandon Holcomb set a career high with 10 points at Santa Clara and tied a season high with 10 rebounds at UNLV on the West Coast road trip.
• R.J. Price ranks 8th all-time in career three-point field goals made with 177. He tied career highs with 30 points and 6 three-pointers vs. Sacred Heart.
• Rashun Davis set a career high with 20 points vs. Sacred Heart.
• Jalen Carethers tied a career high with 12 points vs. Sacred Heart and tied a season-high with 3 blocks vs. The Citadel.
• Kyle Noreen has dished out 20 assists with just 2 turnovers this season. That's a 10.0 assist-to-turnover ratio. The national statistical leader is at 5.0 (Noreen does not qualify for the national rankings based on number of assists per game).
• Allen Dickerson had his first blocked shot since his freshman season in the victory over Houghton.
• As a team, the Highlanders rank 37th in the country averaging 8.1 steals per game and 38th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (.394). As of 12/29 rankings.
