2014-15 SEASON PREVIEW: RADFORD MEN'S BASKETBALL

|

Preseason Prospectus • Radford won 22 games and an NCAA postseason contest for the first time in school history a year ago. The 22 wins tied a school record for NCAA Division I wins in a season, and the Highlanders capped off a berth in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) with an opening round win at Oregon State. With 12 lettermen and five starters returning for Mike Jones, the Highlanders have expectations running high for their fans entering the 2014-15 campaign.

The "Voice of the Highlanders" Rick Watson recently had a chance to set down with Jones and seniors R.J. Price and Jalen Carethers to talk about the upcoming season. Radford is predicted by the Big South's coaches and media members to finish third behind Coastal Carolina and High Point. Senior forward Javonte Green was selected to the league's preseason first team.

Enjoy the preview video Highlander fans. The season starts Friday at Richmond. The home opener is Thursday, Nov. 20 vs. Howard.
