Winners of three straight games and five of its last six, the Radford (5-3) men's basketball team travels Saturday to the nation's capital to face Georgetown (5-3) at the Verizon Center. Tip time between the Highlanders and Hoyas is set for noon and the game will be carried live on Fox Sports 1.

SCOUTING THE HOYAS
Georgetown has dropped three of its last four games with all three losses coming against nationally-ranked programs, Kansas, Butler, and Wisconsin.

THE HIGHLANDERS
Radford carries a three-game winning streak into Saturday's contest after consecutive wins at Virginia Tech, at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and vs. North Carolina A&T.

STORYLINES
Javonte Green's 10-rebound effort at Virginia Tech moved him to within eight of the Radford career record of 845 held by Chris Oliver (2003-07). With one steal, he also moved to within four of equaling the career mark of 192 by Rod Cousin (1984-88). He is also just 14 points shy (1,486) of becoming the fifth Highlander with 1,500 career points.

R.J. Price scored a season-high 25 points, including the go-ahead basket with 27 seconds remaining to defeat Virginia Tech 68-66. It was the first victory in school history over an ACC school. He also moved into the top 10 in Radford career scoring. He now stands alone in 9th place with 1,330 career points.

THE SERIES
The two teams have met only one other time in basketball, a 110-51 victory for the Hoyas in the 2007-08 season. That loss remains the largest deficit margin in Radford school history. RU is 0-2 all-time vs. current members of the Big East (0-1 vs. Georgetown; 0-1 vs. Butler).
