NEW RIVER SHOWDOWN IN BLACKSBURG ON SUNDAY

Radford (4-3) and Virginia Tech (4-3) continue their New River rivalry Sunday at Cassell Coliseum with a 3:00 p.m. tip. This will be the eighth meeting all-time between the two schools that are just 12 miles apart. Radford enters the gave having won two straight and taking home the division championship last week at the Corpus Christi Coastal Classic. The Hokies fell at Penn State on Wednesday in the ACC / Big 10 Challenge.

9807Tech leads the all-time series, 6-1, and has won four straight over the Highlanders, including an 81-56 win at Cassell last season. The two teams have only ever played in Blacksburg.

GREEN ALL-TIME IN THE BIG SOUTH    
Javonte Green became the 14th player with 800 career rebounds when he eclipsed the milestone at TCU on Nov. 26. He is now eighth all-time with 827 and is 73 away from becoming just the sixth player with 900 career rebounds. Meanwhile, Green needs 22 points to become just the fifth player in the Conference record books with 1,500 career points and 800 career rebounds. He is also 13 steals shy of 200 in his career, and is on pace to join Campbell's JOE SPINKS (1990-94) as the only players in Big South history with 1,500 points, 800 rebounds and 200 steals. Spinks tallied 1,711 points, 954 boards and 220 steals in his Hall of Fame career.

GREEN ALL-TIME IN RADFORD HISTORY   
Javonte Green has moved into 5th all-time at RU in scoring with 1,478 points. With a 15-rebound game vs. Corpus Christi, he moved to 2nd all-time in the RU annals with 827 boards. He needs 18 to tie the career mark at RU. He is also 5 steals equaling the RU career record. He owns 187 career thefts to date.

PRICE IS RIGHT IN CORPUS CHRISTI   
R.J. Price was named division MVP and to the all-tournament team at the Corpus Christi Coastal Classic after leading Radford to the division championship with wins over N.C. A&T and Corpus Christi. Price had a season high 21 points in the championship game vs. the Islanders on their home floor. Price moved into 11th place all-time at RU with 1,305 career points.
