The final two weeks of the Big South regular season for Radford men's basketball begins Wednesday night in Farmville, Va. as the Highlanders travel to face in-state rival Longwood. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m. at Willett Hall in this important road game as RU trails both VMI and High Point by a single game in the North Division standings.
SCOUTING THE LANCERS
• Longwood snapped a five-game losing streak with a 76-53 win at Campbell on Saturday.
• Tristan Carey leads the Lancers at 18.6 ppg. He had 27 in the earlier game at Radford. Carey also leads the team in rebounding at 6.2 per game.
SERIES NOTES
• Radford leads the all-time series 14-5.
• Radford is 4-5 all-time in games played in Farmville.
• Radford won this year's earlier matchup at the Dedmon Center, 93-76.
• Longwood won last year's game in Farmville, 76-61.
• The two teams have only met 4 times as Division I opponents with RU holding a 3-1 advantage in those games.

PROJECTED STARTING LINEUP
• This lineup (R.J. Price, Ya Ya Anderson, Kyle Noreen, Javonte Green, and Brandon Holcomb) has started together 30 (18-12) times overall and 25 times (16-9) this season. The group did not start the George Washington and Central Penn games this season. This lineup has made 20 straight starts together beginning with the North Carolina A&T game on Dec. 7.
• Mike Jones has used three different starting lineups during the 2013-14 season.
MILESTONES
• Javonte Green became RU's 25th all-time 1,000-point scorer on December 30 vs. Houghton. He now has 1,244 points and 689 rebounds.
• R.J. Price became RU's 26th all-time 1,000-point scorer on January 15 vs. VMI. He now has 1,095 points.
• R.J. Price is also climbing the ranks in three-point field goals made. Now with 198 for his career, he is in 6th place all-time at RU.
• Javonte Green has moved into the Top 10 at RU all-time. His 1,244 points places him 12th all-time. He currently has 689 career caroms, which is 8th place all-time.
• Javonte Green ranks 7th all-time at RU with 164 career steals.
• Javonte Green has 23 career double-doubles.
QUICK NOTES
• Radford is assured of its 29th winning season out of 40 years as a program.
• RU is 3-1 against NCAA Tournament teams from last year. (W vs. Liberty; W vs. North Carolina A&T; W vs. Florida Gulf Coast; L vs. UNLV).
• Prior to this season, RU had never recorded double-digit wins prior to Big South Conference play.
• Radford has won 3 straight road games for the first time in the Mike Jones era. The Highlanders are 6-6 on the road and 8-6 away from the Dedmon Center this season.
