WARM WEEKEND FORECAST FOR BASEBALL HOME OPENING SERIES

Temperatures are forecast to reach the low 60s Saturday and Sunday in the New River Valley as Radford hosts Siena in the a three-game series to open its home season. Saturday's doubleheader is set for noon, and Sunday's series finale is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. at RU Baseball Stadium.
The Highlanders have dropped their last two games, both road contests at ACC opponents in Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. RU enters the weekend, which will begin an eight-game home stand, with a 2-6 overall record. Siena (0-6) enters the series having been swept in three-game sets by Central Florida and Charleston Southern.
