Radford and Old Dominion have never played each other on the hardwood. That will change Monday night when the Highlanders and Monarchs face off in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) at the Constant Center in Norfolk, Va. for a 7:00 p.m. tipoff.

Coming off one of the biggest wins in program history at Oregon State in the opening round and the first NCAA Division I postseason victory, Radford (22-12) will remain in the Commonwealth to meet its next opponent from Conference USA.

Radford's 22 victories on the season ties the mark for most in a season as a Division I squad and is one from tying the school record of 23 set by the 1978-79 Highlanders.

The Monarchs (17-17) are one of the nation's most improved teams under first-year head coach Jeff Jones, who also led the programs at American and Virginia. ODU won just five games a year ago and defeated South Dakota State in the opening round.
