WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Ryan Rettberg carded a 1-under-par 69 Sunday to propel Radford men's golf to a tie for sixth through 18 holes of the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at Kingsmill Resort's River Course (par 70, 6,765 yards).

Eastern Michigan and No. 50 Texas Tech top the team leaderboard at 288. No. 48 UNC Greensboro, Dayton and William & Mary are five strokes back at 293. The Highlanders are tied with Eastern Kentucky at 294.

Recording his first sub-70 round of his collegiate career, Rettberg charted three birdies along the way to lead the Radford contingent. The redshirt junior is tied for second, one shot behind individual frontrunner Carter Jenkins of UNC Greensboro.

In a tie for 21^st, Tanner Carbaugh dropped in four birdies en route to a 3-over-par 73. Callum Tarren and Nick Brediger are tied for 65^th at 6-over-par 76. With a 9-over-par 79, Conner Hayden is tied for 96^th.

Monday's second round is scheduled to begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Radford is slated to go in the second wave at 1:45 p.m., playing with Loyola (Md.) and Longwood. Live scoring is available at this link.
