RADFORD BEGINS 30TH SEASON OF BIG SOUTH WOMEN’S HOOPS AT HIGH POINT

SETTING THE STAGE
  • Radford begins its 30th season of Big South women's basketball Saturday at 2 p.m. when the Highlanders invade the Millis Center to take on High Point.
  • Series: High Point leads, 24-16
  • Last meeting: High Point 83, Radford 63 (Feb. 28, 2015)
  • The Highlanders will be looking to snap a four-game skid in Big South openers.
  • The 1999-2000 season was the last time RU opened the conference portion of its schedule against the Panthers. Ironically, that was the first season of Big South play for HPU.
  • Radford has not won inside the Millis Center since a 64-55 decision on Jan. 26, 2013.
