Radford (17-8, 8-4) looks to keep pace among the log-jammed standings atop the Big South race Wednesday when it hosts in-state rival Longwood (7-18, 3-9) at the Dedmon Center. The Highlanders will also be seeking to avenge a double-overtime loss to the Lancers a month ago in Farmville. Tip time on the RU campus is set for 7:00 p.m.

Seven teams entered this week with a share of the lead in the league standings with six games to play. Radford, which had its eight-game winning streak snapped at home last Friday by Charleston Southern, is among those teams who still control their own fate in the remainder of the regular season.

STORYLINES
• Cameron Jones averaged 17.0 points on the week and was 12-15 from the field, including 7-9 from behind the 3-point arc. He recorded a career-high 5 blocked shots vs. CSU.
• Javonte Green needs 32 points to reach 1,800 for his career. He also is 29 rebounds from becoming the first Highlander and 3rd Big South player to reach 1,000 for his career.
• Brandon Holcomb recorded his 100th career blocked shot and moved into 7th all-time in RU history.
• Jalen Carethers averaged 7.0 points and 5.0 rebounds off the bench on the week, including reaching double figure scoring with 10 vs. Charleston Southern.

SCOUTING THE LANCERS (7-18, 3-9 Big South)
Longwood, now in its third full season as a member of the Big South Conference, has dropped two straight games and is 1-12 on the road this season. The lone road win came at Presbyterian on January 31.

• Javonte Green is just the second player in Big South history with 1,700 points (1,768 / 14th all-time), 900 rebounds (971 / 3rd all-time) and 200 steals (219). He joins Campbell's Joe Spinks (1990-94) as the only players in Big South history with the totals, as Spinks tallied 1,711 points, 954 boards and 220 steals in his Big South Hall of Fame career.
• R.J. Price is 12th all-time in Big South history with 286 career three-pointers. He has buried a trey in 107 of his 122 career games, including a career-best streak of 26 consecutive games during the 2012-13 campaign. He has also made at least three 3-pointers in a game 54 times -- including 10 times in 2014-15. Price is 9 three-pointers away from cracking the Big South's all-time Top 10.
• Javonte Green and R.J. Price are the two ot the top three career-leading active scorers in the Big South Conference. Green has tallied 1,768 points, for 14th, and Price 1,548, good 30th all-time in the league, respectively. Saah Nimley (1,676), Arlon Harper (1,510) from Charleston Southern and John Brown (1,481) from High Point are the closest active scorers. Green and Price became the third pair of classmates to combine for 3,000 points in conference history (3,316).
