The Bulldogs feature two of the SoCon's best pitchers in starter Alex Ledford and closer Andres Gracia. Ledford led the league in wins a year ago with 11, and Gracia posted 14 saves with a 0.79 ERA in 34.0 innings of work in 2014.

For the first time in Radford baseball history, the Highlanders are coming off back-to-back 30-win seasons, including a school record 33 victories a year ago. The Highlanders received one first-place vote and were predicted 5th in the Big South preseason poll. RU returns two all-conference performers from a year ago. Patrick Marshall was a first-team selection in left field, and Hunter Higgerson earned second-team at third base.
