RADFORD, Va. – The Radford women's basketball team is set to host UNC Asheville for Senior Night Tuesday at 7 p.m. inside the Dedmon Center. Four Highlanders will be recognized prior to tipoff of the Big South clash, which is also designated as the Play 4Kay game.

RADFORD ROUNDUP
The Highlanders (16-11, 13-5 Big South) upended Campbell, 67-43, in a battle for second place in the conference standings Saturday afternoon at home. RU held the Camels to 29.6 percent shooting en route to its largest margin of victory on the season. The win over Campbell was the Highlanders' 13th Big South triumph of 2014-15, which established a single-season program record.

A win against UNC Asheville on Senior Night would give Radford the most wins in a season (17) since 2007-08, when the Highlanders notched 23. That year was the ninth and final time RU eclipsed the 20-win plateau. It will also mark the first time since 2007-08 Radford has recorded double-digit home wins.

Ayana Avery and Aisha Foy both average double-figure scoring for RU at 10.6 and 10.5 points per game, respectively. The duo accounts for 76.2 percent (109-143) of the Highlanders' 3-pointers made. Avery leads the Big South with her 2.5 triples per contest and ranks fourth all-time in league history in career 3-pointers made (255).

Over in the rebounding department, Jordynn Gaymon pulls down 7.3 caroms per contest. Her average ranks ninth in the conference. She is only 13 rebounds away from becoming the 18th Highlander to reach 500 rebounds.

Janayla White ranks 10th in rebounding at 7.2 boards per outing. On top of her rebounding, White ranks third in the Big South in blocks per game, rejecting 1.8 shots per outing.

Paced by Foy's .410 clip from long range, Radford tops the Big South in 3-point field goal percentage (.348). Foy and Avery rank first and second, respectively, in 3-point shooting among Big South players.

SCOUTING UNC ASHEVILLE
The Bulldogs (7-20, 6-12 Big South) are on a four-game losing skid after Saturday's 66-58 loss at home to Gardner-Webb. All four losses were by single digits. Of Asheville's 20 setbacks, 10 have been by 10 points or fewer.

Asheville is one of the more experienced teams in the conference. The Bulldogs have 11 returners off their 2013-14 squad that finished with 11 wins, the most for the program in four seasons. Asheville's tournament win over RU last year marked its first postseason victory in seven years.

Shonese Jones guides the Bulldogs in scoring at 11.8 points per game. Jones ranks third among Big South players in 3-point shooting (.378) and second in 3-pointers made per game (2.1). KJ Weaver hauls in a team-best 5.9 rebounds per game. Paige Love tops the conference in assist/turnover ratio (1.7).

Asheville only averages 38.9 rebounds per game, so the Highlanders will definitely have the opportunity for second-chance points. However, Radford has been held below 40 rebounds in its last three games.
