SCOUTING THE RED FOXES
Marist enters the series with an 0-6 record on the season, but two of those losses came in extra innings, including a 5-4 loss to Virginia in 18 innings. The Red Foxes were swept by the nationally-ranked Cavailer to open the season and then dropped a three-game set on the road to Furman, again with the final contest of the series going to extra innings.
THE HIGHLANDERS
Radford is coming off another highly productive offensive performance in a 15-3 whitewashing of Youngstown State on Wednesday. The Highlanders and Penguins split a two-game midweek series to christen RU Baseball Stadium for the 2015 season. YSU took the opener in the series 10-9.
Josh Gardiner leads RU with a .424 batting average on the season, which is the third-highest average in the Big South.
