For the first time in program history, Radford will play in back-to-back NCAA postseason tournaments appearing in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI) for the second straight season. The Highlanders open CBI play Wednesday at Delaware State. Tip is set for 8:00 p.m. in Dover, Del.

STORYLINES
• Javonte Green became the 3rd Big South player in history to reach 1,000 career rebounds with his 10-rebound performance at UNC Asheville. He now has 1,040 for his career.
• R.J. Price moved into 5th all-time in RU scoring history and reached the 1,600-point milestone with 20 vs. UNC Asheville. He now has scored 1,628 points in his career.
• RU now has back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time overall since 1999 and in the regular season since 1992.
• Radford is 1-3 all-time in the postseason as an NCAA Division I team (0-2 NCAA, 1-1 CBI). RU is 3-6 all-time in postseason play (2-3 NAIA).

SCOUTING THE HORNETS
Delaware State (18-17) had its five-game winning streak snapped in the MEAC championship game against Hampton. The Hornets knocked off the top seed and undefeated during the conference regular season, North Carolina Central, in the semifinal round of the MEAC Tournament.

THE HIGHLANDERS
For the first time in the NCAA Division I era of Radford basketball, the Highlanders have secured a postseason berth in back-to-back seasons. A year ago, the Highlanders won an opening round game in the CBI at Oregon State, marking the first NCAA Division I postseason victory in program history.
