Radford opens Big South Tournament play Friday against a familiar postseason opponent in the Winthrop Eagles. RU and WU have met nine prior times in the postseason with the Eagles owning a 7-2 record in those contests. Friday's quarterfinal is the second game of the first session and is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. from the HTC Center in Conway, S.C.

• Javonte Green became the 3rd Big South player in history to reach 1,000 career rebounds with his 10-rebound performance at UNC Asheville. He now has 1,028 for his career.
• R.J. Price moved into 5th all-time in RU scoring history and reached the 1,600-point milestone with 20 vs. UNC Asheville. He now has scored 1,628 points in his career.
• RU now has back-to-back 20-win seasons for the first time overall since 1998 and in the regular season since 1992.
• Radford is 1-3 all-time at the HTC Center, including 1-2 in Big South Tournament games (L at Coastal [reg. season 2012-13], L Winthrop-OT [2013 1st Rd.], W Presbyterian [2014 1st Rd.], L vs. UNC Asheville [2014 quarterfinals]).
