Radford steps out of Big South league play with the first two of five non-conference games this week at home in midweek contests vs. VMI on Tuesday and West Virginia on Wednesday. The Highlanders (28-14) defeated VMI, 6-2, earlier this season in Lexington. The Highlanders and the Mountaineers (24-17) have not met in over a decade with WVU leading the all-time series 5-3-1.

VMI enters Tuesday's game at 15-22 overall and 8-7 in Southern Conference play. The Keydets are 12-9 on the road this season. Jordan Tarsovich leads the team with a .338 batting average and 13 doubles. He also leads the team with 24 RBI.
