  • Radford hit a season-high .311 en route to a three-set victory over Grambling State, Saturday, at the Georgia State Invitational in Atlanta, Ga.
  • Maddie Palmer unleashed nine of her match-high 16 kills in the opening stanza.

  • Maddie Palmer hit a career-high .593 (16 kills, 0 errors, 27 attempts) to pace the Highlanders, offensively. She added seven digs, two aces and one block.
  • Radford dialed up seven aces in three sets of action, led by Ashley Hillyard's three.
  • Hillyard, who received her first start at the setter position, handed out 33 assists.
  • Kelby Jackson anchored the Highlanders' backline with a match-high 12 digs.
  • Mandy Napierala rejected a team-high three attacks.
  • Palmer and Megan Short were named to the all-tournament team.
  • Grambling State became Radford's first opponent this season to finish with a negative hitting percentage (-.041).
