LAST MEETING
Three-point shooting ignited the Highlanders in a 55-45 home win as 2015 graduate Ayana Avery buried 5 of 7 from long range en route to a game-high 15 points. Radford led by 21 points with eight minutes to go before the Lancers made a late push to close the gap to seven. RU connected on 10 3-pointers in the contest.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
One of the hottest teams in the Big South, Radford (8-7, 4-2) will aim for its third straight win over the Lancers in the head-to-head series. Defense and rebounding have been the cornerstones of the Highlanders' success this season. RU leads the Big South in scoring defense (55.8), field-goal percentage defense (.343), rebounds per game (42.1) and rebounding margin (+8.4).

Radford had to rely on its defense to withstand a late rally by Campbell on Monday night to hold on for a 62-59 win over the Camels inside the Dedmon Center. Senior point guard Aisha Foy led all scorers with 23 points – her fourth 20-point performance of the season.

Foy leads the Highlanders in the scoring column, averaging 13.7 points per game, which rank sixth among Big South players. The Virginia Beach, Va., native connected on a season-high-tying five 3-pointers against Campbell. Her 38.8 percent accuracy from 3-point range ranks third in the conference.

Janayla White joins Foy in double-figure scoring at 11.3 points per game. The reigning Big South Player of the Week has recorded two straight double-doubles to bring her season total to four, which tie for third-most in the league. She reeled in a career-high 18 rebounds against Campbell, marking her second straight game of pulling down at least 15 rebounds. Her 9.1 rebounds per game are the most by any Big South player.

Gaby Gilmore ranks third in the conference in steals per game at 2.5. She collected a career-high seven steals last time out. Gilmore has six games where she has logged at least three steals.

SCOUTING LONGWOOD
Longwood (5-11, 2-5) is coming off an 81-42 defeat at UNC Asheville on Tuesday night. It was the Lancers' fifth loss by at least 30 points this season.

Similar to Radford, injuries have limited the Lancers' depth. Preseason All-Big South selection Raven Williams has missed the last six games with an injury. Longwood had only eight players available at Asheville.

The Lancers do have explosive guard Daeisha Brown back after an ACL tear sidelined her last season. The redshirt junior is averaging 9.1 points per game, which rank second on the team. Kyndal Skersick leads Longwood in scoring at 9.9 points per game. She is the Lancers' top threat from downtown, connecting on 38 percent of her attempts from beyond the arc.

Longwood ranks 10th in the Big South in both scoring offense (56.7) and scoring defense (70.2).
