LAST MEETING
Aisha Foy connected on 11 of 12 free throws in the second stanza, including 10 straight down the stretch to lift Radford to a 64-57 road victory over Charleston Southern on Feb. 14, 2015 inside the Buc Dome.

Despite shooting below her season average from the floor, Foy scorched the charity stripe for 12 of her game-high 19 points. The then-junior guard knocked down 85.7 percent (12-14) of her attempts from the free-throw line in her 38 minutes of action. Foy was the Highlanders' only double-figure scorer.

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
One of the hottest teams in the Big South, Radford (9-7, 5-2) will aim for its fourth straight win over the Buccaneers in the head-to-head series. On the strength of their four-game winning streak, the Highlanders have matched their 5-2 start to conference play from last season. RU set a program record for single-season Big South wins (14) during the 2014-15 campaign.

Bolstered by the return of Alexis Jackson in its last time out, Radford was able to break the 70-point plateau for the first time since Dec. 18. Conversely, it was the first time a Highlanders' opponent scored 70 points since Wofford on Dec. 18.

Radford, which is 7-1 inside the Dedmon Center this season, is currently in a four-way tie for second place in the league standings with Gardner-Webb, Presbyterian and Liberty.

Foy leads the Highlanders in the scoring column, averaging 13.8 points per game, which rank sixth among Big South players. The Virginia Beach, Va., native is heating up from 3-point land. She connected on eight 3-pointers in Radford's two wins last week. Her 40 percent accuracy from 3-point range ranks second in the conference.

Janayla White joins Foy in double-figure scoring at 11.3 points per game. Despite missing the Longwood game, White has recorded two straight double-doubles to bring her season total to four, which tie for third-most in the league. She reeled in a career-high 18 rebounds against Campbell, marking her second straight game of pulling down at least 15 rebounds. Her 9.1 rebounds per game are the most by any Big South player.

Gaby Gilmore ranks third in the conference in steals per game at 2.3. She collected a career-high seven steals against Campbell on Jan. 11. Gilmore has six games where she has logged at least three steals.

SCOUTING CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
CSU (8-9, 3-5 Big South) has dropped its last three games, including a 73-62 decision to Coastal Carolina at home on Saturday. The Buccaneers were without leading scorer Alyssa Mann in those three losses. She played six minutes in CSU's 64-62 win at High Point on Jan. 4 before going down with an injury.

Mann ranks third in the Big South in scoring at 15.4 points per game. She has been a big reason why the Bucs have already surpassed their win total from the 2014-15 campaign. CSU finished 5-25 overall and 1-19 in conference play a year ago.

The 3-point line will be a key factor to watch as the Bucs only allow opponents to shoot 24.8 percent from long range. That percentage ranks in the Top 10, nationally. Meanwhile, Radford is the Big South's top threat from downtown, connecting on 35.5 percent of its attempts.

Blocking will also have an impact on the game as the conference contest pits the No. 1 (Radford) and No. 2 (Charleston Southern) ranked teams in the Big South in that category. The Highlanders average 5.2 swats per game, while the Bucs turn away 4.8 shots per game.

Under the direction of fourth-year head coach Fred Applin, CSU is exceeding its No. 11 preseason Big South ranking. Applin is one win away from notching the 400th of his coaching career.

UP NEXT
Radford heads to Boiling Springs, N.C. for Saturday's pivotal Big South clash against Gardner-Webb. The 19th all-time meeting between the Highlanders and GWU will feature two teams who are currently tied for second place in the Big South standings.
