KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – In his first round of the fall season, Ben O'Geary fired an even par 72 to stand in a tie for 13th place after charting his best round as a Highlanders, Sunday afternoon in the first round of the East Bay Deli Classic.

O'Geary birded two holes on the front nine and one hole on the back nine to finish with identical 36's. The redshirt senior finished his round with 13 pars.

Following O'Geary, Myles Creighton carded a one-over par 73, tied for 28th overall. Creighton birded three holes on the front nine to finish with a two-under 34.

Radford stands in a tie with Abilene Christian for 20th place, finishing the first day with a 306. The Highlanders are six strokes out of 12th place. Tennessee leads the classic with a three-under par 285, three strokes ahead of second place Augusta.
