HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Record: 0-1
  • Radford puts a pair of streaks on the line, having won 13 consecutive home openers and 34 straight contests against non-Division I opponents.
  • The Highlanders look to get in the win column after playing Wake Forest tight into the second half in the opener, before the Demon Deacons pulled away.
  • Ed Polite, Jr. posted team-highs of 11 points, eight rebounds and three assists. It marked the 22nd time in his 32 games that he has led the team in rebounding.
  • Four newcomers combined for 20 points and 16 rebounds, led by freshman Devonnte Holland's eight points and six boards.
  • Overall, Radford's bench produced 35 of the team's 59 points. Caleb Tanner and Christian Lutete each scored nine.
  • The Highlanders hung with a bigger Wake team on the glass, trailing just 43-39, while having a 16-14 edge on the offensive end.
  • Radford has beaten Central Penn by an average of 42.5 points in the five meetings.
  • The 123 points scored last season were one shy of a Dedmon Center record.

SCOUTING CENTRAL PENN
  • Record: 5-0
  • Central Penn has won its first five games after a 91-70 victory over Penn State York Tuesday night.
  • The Knights have scored at least 87 points in four of the victories.
  • Just two players on this year's roster played in last year's meeting.
  • Senior guard Tyree Tucker scored 10 points in that game, on 5 of 16 shooting. He is averaging 19.6 ppg in his three games this season.
  • Entering Tuesday's game, senior forward Tyrie Orosco led the team with 21.0 points and 12.2 rebounds per game and has posted three double-doubles.
  • David Archer is in his first season as head coach, succeeding Dave Baker after seven seasons. Archer led Harrisburg Area Community College to its first-ever Region IXX Tournament.

UP NEXT
  • Radford faces a busy Thanksgiving week, playing four games away from home in seven days, beginning with a Sunday night matchup at Akron.
