HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Records: 22-5, 13-2 Big South
  • Radford has locked up the No. 1 seed for the Big South Tournament, a first-round bye and a spot in the semifinals of the event, which is limited to six teams this year.
  • A victory would give the Highlanders their most regular-season wins since the 2000 campaign.
  • With 440 kills on the season, six-time Player of the Week Maddie Palmer is five away from taking over third on the program's single-season rally scoring list.
  • Palmer's conference-leading 43 aces are seven more than the combined total of her first two seasons.
  • Radford's team average of 13.6 kills per set is on pace to be second-best in program rally-scoring history, while its .233 hitting percentage would be third.
  • With 1,113 assists, Haley Kleespies has eclipsed her 2015 total and she needs 28 for fifth at Radford in a single season.
  • Kelby Jackson is now over the 1,600-mark in career digs, with her program record up to 1,610.
  • Stephanie Neast totaled 13 blocks in the three matches last week, capped by a season-best six vs. Presbyterian on Saturday.
  • Neast and fellow freshman Mallory McKnight now share second on the team with 55, behind leader Amaya Rousseau (84).
  • Kaylor Nash surpassed her previous career-best season digs total, now with 297 and averaging 3.00 per set.

SCOUTING CHARLESTON SOUTHERN
  • Records: 12-18, 7-7 Big South
  • Charleston Southern has lost six of its last seven matches, including home setbacks to Gardner-Webb (3-2) and Winthrop (3-0) last weekend.
  • The Buccaneers still lead the way in opponent hitting percentage during conference play (.165), but have dropped to seventh in hitting percentage (.165) and eighth in kills per set.
  • CSU stands first in Big South play in digs per set, with Madison Martin leading the way individually at 5.56 per set. She has a total of 609 digs on the season, while also ranking third in aces per set in league action.
  • Kylie Klein is fifth in the conference in blocks per set (118 total), while Connor Malone and Brooke Monssen rank fifth and seventh, respectively, during conference matches.
  • Addison Kaderli is the team's kills leader with 323 (2.78 per set), with Monssen second with 271.

UP NEXT
  • Radford will have over a week off before traveling to Lynchburg for the Big South Tournament, where it will play a 4:30 p.m. semifinal on Nov. 19.
